How do I choose the right crop for a post?

Frame media for the destination where it will appear. Keep the subject, important text and call to action visible, then review the exported file and each platform’s preview before approving the post.

Check the framing

  • Start with the destination’s supported format and the editing options available for your file.
  • Keep faces, text and logos away from edges that may be cropped or covered by platform controls.
  • Preview each destination separately when one post uses several accounts.

Preserve the original

Save a copy if you want to reuse the original framing later. A crop that works for one destination may need a different version for another.
