What should I check when exporting an edited video?

Keep the browser open until the export finishes. Play the exported video from beginning to end, checking orientation, framing, text and sound before publishing. Keep the original file if you need to retry.

Review the export

  • Check the beginning and end for unwanted frames.
  • Listen for missing, clipped or unexpectedly loud audio.
  • Confirm the crop, text and playback look right in the exported file, not only in the editor.

If export fails

Read the visible error and keep your source file. Try a supported browser or a smaller version of the file. Browser and file-format support affect video editing; closing the browser does not continue the export in the cloud.
