What account types can I connect for Facebook and Instagram?

Use Facebook Pages and Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Facebook personal profiles and Instagram personal accounts are different account types.

Prepare the right accounts

  • Confirm you have permission to manage and publish to the Facebook Page.
  • Check that the Instagram account is a Business or Creator account.
  • Verify the selected brand and destination during authorization.

Prepare each post

Review the caption, media crop and format for each destination. Do not assume the same content will appear identically across platforms.
